About Brad Furr

Brad Furr Racing Resume

Brad begin racing in 1992 in micro-midgets at the age of 15. He had no prior racing experience. He was rookie of the year in 1992. Brad raced at Delta Speedway in the 125cc class and won the Delta Speedway 125cc class track championship in 1993. In 1994 Brad move up to the 600cc class, finishing 2nd in points at Delta Speedway. 1995 was Brad's first year in sprint cars running the full San Jose Speedway schedule. In 1996 Brad ran the full NARC schedule and in 1998 Brad started to travel throughout the U.S. running various All Stars and World of Outlaw races. In 2000 Brad ran the World of Outlaws Gumout Series finishing 5th in points and in 2001 and 2002 he ran the full World of Outlaws series finishing 8th in points in 2002. After the 2002 season, Brad officially "semi-retired" and since that time has been racing locally around Northern California. Brad was the Ocean Speedway presented by Taco Bravo track champion in 2013 and 2016 and has finished second total points in the series six other times.

Notable victories include:
· Won every race during 1999 Northern Sprint Tour Speedweek – 5 races (a clean sweep - never been done before or after)
· 5 World of Outlaw feature victories
· 7 Australian feature wins
· California Rebel Cup win
· Civil War wins
· Golden State Challenge wins
· Pacific Fall Nationals win
· Annual Cheater's Day win (Terra Haute, IN)

In 2017, Brad plans on running only selected races in Northern California to include the Ocean Speedway 360 sprint car/Taco Bravo series. Brad is the owner of Price Rite Restaurant Equipment located in Stockton, CA. Brad has two children, Gracie and Freddie Danger. He lives just outside of Stockton, CA.
